This week's tip consists of five
need-to-know keyboard shortcuts
while in Word or Excel on your
PC. Get in the habit of using
them to save time by not lifting
your hand to use your mouse.
Ctl-A
highlights all
Ctl-S immediately saves
your document or spreadsheet
Ctl-P brings you to
your print options
Ctl-O opens your like
documents (Excel docs if you're
in Excel, Word docs if in Word)
Windows-D instantly
delivers you to your desktop (my
personal favorite). Many people
don't realize they HAVE a
windows key. It's in the bottom
left area of your keyboard. It
relieves you of minimizing all
your open windows to get to your
desktop.
Next week will be another group
of five favorites of mine. See
you then!
To your success,
Tiiu Garrett
