Riding piggy-back on last week's
keyboard shortcuts are these -
five more of my favorites. Try
them!
Windows-M: Minimizes
your window
Ctl-Y: I think
of this one as Yet
again. Whatever you type before
pressing this combo will repeat
the typing. So, for example, if
you want a sheet filled with the
phrase, "Pay the Ransom Now!"
you type it, then press Ctl-Y. I
know what you're thinking...
when will you ever use this
shortcut since you don't plan on
kidnapping anyone soon. Well, it
seems that once you know about
this tip, opportunities abound.
Ctl-2
double-spaces selected text
(conversely, Ctl-1 reverts it
back to single spacing)
F7 opens spell
check
F9 in Outlook:
Send/Receive mail (no need to
wait for the auto-delivery every
so many minutes)
To your success,
Tiiu Garrett
