When working with any Excel
doc, you sometimes need to know
what formatting you put in a
cell. Sure, you could
highlight it, and then check the
formula bar for each one.
But there's a quick way to
reveal all the formatting at
once. It's a great way to check
for consistency, or simply
remembering how you enabled a
certain action.
Highlight your area to check
(or click the top left cell
BETWEEN the A and 1 to select it
ALL) and then click Ctl-~
(that's the tilde key near the
top left of your keyboard).
Voila! And it works as a toggle,
so repeat to hide the formatting
when you're done.
To your success,
