Do you ever receive an Excel spreadsheet
and when you print it out, it spits out
extra blank pages at the end of it?
Maybe the same thing happens to you when
you print out a Word doc which appears
to be just one page long. It's
irritating but so simple to fix.
In your Excel spreadsheet, simply
save and then highlight the chosen
text* and do the following:
- Click on Page Layout;
- Click on Print Area;
- Choose Set Print Area;
- Save again.
In a Word doc, save first and then
simply put your cursor at the very end
of the document immediately after the
last character and press Delete, holding
it down for a few seconds.
This removes extra spaces, breaks,
etc. that may be present. Don't
forget to save again.
* When highlighting a large area of
information on a spreadsheet (or the
entire thing), it's a good practice
to start at the very end of your
document instead.
Hold down to highlight dragging UP
and LEFT to capture all your text
all the way back up to cell A1.
It's keeps the highlighting from
'running away' from you.
To your success,
